This is my test Wetpaint wiki, which I've made about basement remodeling. I've posted a few pictures of my work in progress here.
As house projects go, our remodel could be worse. But if it were, we'd have to move out.
Our contractor is Wallace Remodeling. They're a very good design/build firm.

From the looks of it, it seems you've decided to go down versus jacking up the house. What was the decision criteria for that? Hopefully the water was a spill or something! :-)
